This backyard was very large and the homeowners wanted to make it feel more intimate. So we added a low wall that winds sinuously around the space which helps bring down the scale of the yard. As you can see in the before picture they have some beautiful mosaics on the walls that are just washed out by the gray block. The dark green really makes them pop and the strong colors really unify the yard and make the space feel more intimate and cozy.
